Manager, Recruitment - Direct Hire

The Direct Hire Recruiting Manager is responsible for leading and managing the direct hire recruitment team, focusing on talent acquisition for healthcare clients. This is a non-producing role that requires deep experience in healthcare staffing and recruiting. The Recruiting Manager will drive the success of the team by setting recruitment strategies, optimizing processes, and ensuring high-quality candidate placements that meet client needs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of direct hire recruiters, providing guidance and support on best practices, client engagement, and candidate sourcing.
    • Set performance goals for the team and ensure they meet and exceed recruitment targets.
    • Conduct regular one-on-ones, team meetings, and performance reviews to evaluate recruiter performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Strategic Recruitment Planning:
    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top healthcare talent, focusing on specialized roles such as Registered Nurses (RNs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Allied Health Professionals, and Administrative Staff.
    • Collaborate with the sales team and senior management to understand client needs and tailor recruiting efforts accordingly.
    • Monitor industry trends and market conditions to ensure the recruitment team is competitive and innovative in sourcing talent.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee the entire direct hire recruitment process, ensuring efficient workflow, compliance with hiring regulations, and adherence to company standards.
    • Utilize recruitment software (e.g., Applicant Tracking Systems, CRM tools) to track team performance and optimize recruiting operations.
    • Identify areas for process improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Partner with the sales and account management teams to understand the client’s hiring needs and ensure a seamless recruitment experience.
    • Ensure the recruiters maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and provide ongoing updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Training & Development:
    • Facilitate training programs to enhance recruiters' skills in sourcing, interviewing, and assessing healthcare professionals.
    • Ensure team members are up to date on industry standards, certifications, and credentialing requirements for healthcare professionals.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting:
    • Establish and track KPIs to monitor team performance, candidate quality, time-to-fill, and client satisfaction.
    • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, providing insights on recruitment trends, challenges, and successes.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in healthcare recruiting, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role.
    • Proven experience in direct hire recruiting, specifically within the healthcare sector.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building high-performing recruitment teams.
    • Excellent knowledge of the healthcare staffing industry, including industry trends, talent pools, and competitive hiring practices.
    • Proficiency in recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and CRM tools.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Education & Certifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
    • Relevant certifications in recruitment (e.g., AIRS, PHR) or healthcare staffing (e.g., CHHR) are a plus.

 

 

Pay Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
