Sr. Product Manager – Job Description 

 The Senior Product Manager works on a fast-paced, innovative technology team to create industry-leading applications that are critical to Medical Solutions’ success. They play a central role in performing product discovery activities, gathering user insights, defining product requirements, and collaborating with Engineering and Design teams to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations. 

 

The Senior Product Manager collaborates with executives, stakeholders, and key clients to make informed prioritization decisions and work closely with teammates in Engineering and Design to create innovative products that align with the company’s vision and exceed customer expectations. The Sr. Product Manager will manage a high-complexity product area with a high degree of autonomy. The role requires fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous discovery to align product initiatives with company objectives and to deliver measurable business outcomes. 

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Leadership & Collaboration
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the product area, representing the team confidently in executive meetings and external engagements
  • Mentor junior product managers, providing guidance on best practices, professional development, and fostering a culture of accountability and ownership
  • Build trust with stakeholders by proactively communicating and aligning on strategic priorities
  • Product Discovery & Innovation
  • Own product discovery efforts, including conducting customer interviews, usability testing, and market analysis to identify opportunities and validate ideas
  • Analyze market research and competitive assessments to identify trends and opportunities for differentiation
  • Engage with users to gather actionable insights and incorporate feedback into product planning and design
  • Explore multiple solution options using data and user feedback to determine the most valuable and viable opportunities
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Research teams to test prototypes and iterate based on user insights
  • Conduct experiments such as prototypes, A/B testing, and MVP launches to mitigate risks and validate assumptions
  • Strategy & Roadmap Alignment
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with company objectives and adapts to market trends
  • Align the roadmap with key metrics and prioritize work based on business impact and strategic goals
  • Evaluate and adapt the strategy and roadmap in response to stakeholder feedback, data insights, and changing market conditions
  • Execution & Delivery
  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, high-impact product releases
  • Drive product launches, working closely with Marketing, Training, Support, and other teams to ensure strong adoption and measurable outcomes
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Define success metrics and use data-driven insights to iterate and improve products continuously
  • Monitor product performance metrics post-launch, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation
  • Seek out industry trends and insights, integrating new learnings into product strategies and processes 

Qualifications

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of delivering successful products
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and demonstrated ability to translate strategy into effective execution
  • Experience driving large-scale enterprise product initiatives
  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
  • Familiarity with key metrics for assessing product performance and success
  • Experience in the Healthcare Staffing industry, and strong familiarity with Vendor Management Systems not required, but would be a strong plus

Work Environment:  

Medical Solutions strives to provide team members with the flexibility to work in the office or remotely. Typically, this includes the option to work remotely full-time, in the office full-time, or a hybrid between the office and remote. Generally, remote work will be available for a role that an employee can complete outside of our office environment. In a remote role, teammates can complete a majority of their tasks and projects using an internet-connected computer and phone. Please review the remote work policy for further guidelines. If a teammate is able to and interested in working in one of our offices, noise levels are generally quiet, and you will be required to sit and walk.
