Principal Enterprise Project Manager - Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Principal Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of project management experience, preferably in the staffing industry, and possess a strong understanding of both waterfall and agile methodologies. The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in managing large-scale projects and ensuring their successful execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple complex projects from intake to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of project management experience.
  • Proven experience with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
  • Cross-functional large enterprise-level project experience
  • Experience managing projects through the full project life cycle
  • Strong understanding of project management tools and software
  • Proficient in tracking resource utilization, capacity, and project spend
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferences:

  • Advanced degree
  • Experience in the staffing or related industry
  • PMP or Certified Project Manager designation
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Proficient in Smartsheet

Pay Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
