Overview

The Manager, Business Development is a key member of the Sales team and is responsible for owning and leading the strategy for inbound and outbound demand generation to drive critical business targets within MSG. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, capable of long-term planning while managing day-to-day operations. This role requires a results-oriented, forward-thinking individual who embraces innovative solutions to enhance demand-generation efforts and fuel business growth. Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute inbound and outbound demand generation strategies to achieve targeted business outcomes.
  • Implement a data-driven approach to generate high-quality leads, accelerate pipeline growth, and enhance prospect engagement.
  • Design and manage integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including webinars, websites, email marketing, and events.
  • Forecast, analyze, and measure the impact of demand generation efforts, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Optimize and manage Dynamics to enhance demand-generation activities and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and refine marketing automation workflows, including lead nurturing, lead scoring, and segmentation.
  • Own ROI measurement by delivering clear, actionable reports through Dynamics, providing visibility into performance and forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Define and monitor key business KPIs, analyze their drivers, and identify opportunities for continuous optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and other key departments to align strategies and drive cohesive demand generation efforts.
  • Strengthen interdepartmental communication to improve lead conversion rates and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Oversee a team to support the department strategies and hold accountable to KPIs and targeted goals.
  • Train and mentor team members to uphold high service standards and foster a collaborative culture aligned with our Core Values.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality execution in all demand-generation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in lead generation and demand generation roles, with a strong track record of driving measurable results.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including experience managing and motivating teams to achieve strategic goals.
  • Expertise in marketing automation and CRM tools, with a strong understanding of demand-generation best practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable, results-driven strategies.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, with the agility to adapt strategies in response to market dynamics and evolving business needs.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Pay Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
